Borno Govt signed over 5.8 billion naira for construction of Modern Fly over

Over 5.8 billion naira contract agreement for the construction and supervision of a fly over bridge at Borno Express Terminus Junction between the Borno State Government, EEC and Sani Mustapha and associates has been signed.
Signing the contract papers on behalf of the Borno State government, the state commissioner Ministry of Works Architect Isa Garba Halidu said after submission of tender from various construction companies and opening, the two construction firms were found qualified and suitable for the work .
The commissioner of works charged the contractors to adhere strictly to specification and standard as well as complete the project within the stipulated period of six month.
The representatives of the two construction firms assured to live upto expectation and deliver the project on time by adhering to all the specifications.
They commended the state governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum for his effort in developing the state and for awarding them the contract and promised to justify the confidence reposed in them.
The signing of the contract which took place at the Ministry of Works Conference Hall yesterday saw the Acting permanent secretary of the ministry Engr Ali Abubakar Baware, Directors in the ministry, Chairman CSO and the representatives of the construction firms among others.
