Bosso Expresses Confidence For Better Outing

Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso has expressed confidence that his team will have to be at its best after being drawn in the ‘Group of Death’ of the U-20 World Cup.
Nigeria has been pitted against five-time champions Brazil, top European team Italy and the Dominican Republic in the first round of May’s World Cup in Argentina.
The team will open the campaign on May 21 against The Dominican Republic in Mendoza before taking on Italy two days later at the same venue. The final group fixture is against Brazil in La Plata on May 27.
Bosso admitted that Nigerians have described the team’s group as tough, but he believe that will get the team to be at its best right from the onset.
According to him the reward for all the team’s efforts will be qualification to the knockout rounds of the tournament.”
Bosso said he has already begun compiling a full dossier on the Flying Eagles immediate World Cup rivals that will inform his game plan against them.
This week, the Flying Eagles opened training camp in Abuja with the bulk of the squad which qualified the country at the recent U-20 AFCON in Egypt.
The Flying Eagles coach disclosed that he expects invited foreign-based pros to join in the new week.
AC Milan highly-rated youngster Victor Eletu is one of several foreign-based pros expected to storm the Flying Eagles training camp this week ahead of next month’s U-20 World Cup in Argentina
Eletu, 18, is a ball-playing defensive midfielder, featured for Milan U-19s in Friday’s UEFA Youth Champions League semi-final against Hadjuk Split of Croatia.
The left-footed ace has already featured for the Milan first team.
He has signed a pro contract with the Italian giants till 2025 after he came through the youth ranks
