First Juma’ah in Islamic New Year: Shehu of Borno urges intercessory Dhu’a, special Sadakaat

His Royal Highness, Shehu of Borno- Alhaji (Dr.) Abubakar Ibn Umar Garba El Kanemi, (CFR) fnse, has called on Imams of all Friday Juma’ah mosques in Borno state to dedicate today’s, 21st July, 2023 Jumat prayers to seek Allah’s intervention on the cessation of rains that is threatening the livelihood of Borno residents especially the farmers.
He also enjoins all five daily congregation mosques in every part of Borno state to offer similar supplications to Almighty Allah for his intervention and forgiveness.
The Royal Father made this passionate appeal in a press release issued from his palace and signed by the Secretary to the Borno- Emirate Council, Zanna Laisu Kasalma.
In the press release obtained by KanemPress, El Kanemi specifically directed all District and Village Heads across Borno state towards mobilizing the Muslim Ummah in their respective domains to reach out to the needy, the orphans, disabled persons and vulnerable groups around them by offering them regular Sadakat even as the Ummahs are enjoined to restrain themselves from all forms of social vices as they strive toward imbibing the teachings of the glorious holy Quran.
In conclusion, the revered Royal father advise parents to counsel their children and wards to desist from immoral behaviours, social misconducts and use of illicit drugs while traders and business operators are encouraged to uphold the fear of Allah in their enterprise.
