Gombe Gov. Celebrates Eid-el-Kabir, Calls for Support and Prayers for President Tinubu

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, along with the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Dr Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, and other Muslim community members, yesterday gathered to observe the Eid prayer, marking the beginning of the Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebration in Gombe.
The prayer took place at the main Eid ground and was led by Ustaz Aliyu Hammari, the Deputy Chief Imam of Gombe.
Several government officials, including the Speaker and members of the State House of Assembly, the Secretary to the State Government, the acting head of the Civil Service, and permanent secretaries, also attended the prayer.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya emphasized the importance of embracing the values of sacrifice, love, unity, and obedience associated with Eid el-Kabir.
He encouraged the people of Gombe State to apply these principles in their daily lives for the betterment of society and humanity as a whole.
The governor urged the residents to continue making sacrifices for the progress and development of Gombe State and Nigeria, while specifically requesting special prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and leaders at all levels.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya praised Tinubu’s efforts, stating that the President had shown dedication, passion, and determination to propel the country forward. He called for overwhelming support and encouragement to Tinubu.
The governor expressed gratitude to the traditional, community, and religious leaders, as well as the people of Gombe State, for their support and understanding.
He, however, reassured them of his administration’s commitment to providing effective leadership and building upon the achievements made thus far, to create a better future.
