Gov. Buni Distribute Vehicles, Cash, and Empowerment Support Materials

Yobe state Governor Hon. Mai Mala CON, today distributed 100 vehicles, sewing, grinding and vulcanising machines and cash to support economic empowerment of women, vulnerable persons and members of the business community.
The vehicles were given on loan to members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers and others who migrated from drivers to transport owners.
Government also provided cash support to mothers of 400 orphans, 250 Tsangaya Ulamas and small and Medium-scale businessmen.
Governor Buni said the programme was aimed at facilitating the recovery programme of the state government and economic empowerment of the people.
The governor charged the beneficiaries to use the support judiciously to improve their economy.
He assured more support to the people to have sustainable means of livelihood.
