Governor Zulum urges Nigerians to rally behind Tinubu’s policies

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has called on residents to fully support President Ahmed Tinubu’s policies, emphasizing that they are in the best interest of Nigerians.
Kanempress learned that Zulum revealed this in Maiduguri on Tuesday while flagging-off the distribution of palliatives to displaced persons at Muna Camp.
He stated, “We are doing this food distribution in line with the federal government’s rolled-out palliative meant to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal on the vulnerable citizens.”
According to Zulum, his administration had already done similar distribution of palliatives in Gwoza LGA and three communities in Kukawa LGA.
He urged understanding for the removal of fuel subsidy, assuring that though there might be initial hardships, adding that it will be beneficial in the long run.
The governor also commenced the distribution of palliatives to displaced persons as per Tinubu’s directive, targeting 300,000 households.
Additionally, he handed over 400 houses to displaced persons in the Molai community, providing them with food, clothing, and other essential items.
