Kenyan opposition leader, Raila Odinga has paid visits to hospitals to check up on people injured by the police during recent protests.
Mr Odinga has suspended this week’s planned protest due to the deaths of some protesters.
Mr Odinga will be organizing a vigil for those killed in the anti-government demonstrations over rising cost of living. Candles would be lit and flowers laid at a memorial site for them.
Reports have it that about 30 people died in the capital, Nairobi, and other towns across Kenya.
The police authorities were criticised for excessive use of force, but the interior ministry defended officers’ actions.
