Labour has suspended its nationwide strike, which was initially planned in protest against the removal of fuel subsidy.
The President of Trade Union Congress, Festus Osifo made this known during an interview with Arise News on Thursday morning.
Osifo, stated that the decision came after meeting with President Bola Tinubu, where they received commitments for immediate implementation on some of the raised issues.
It could be recalled that the Nigeria Labour Congress had previously announced the continuation of the mass protest after a meeting with the Federal Government, which did not result in any positive changes or concessions.
However, the Labour emphasized its dedication to representing the interests and desires of the Nigerian workers and people.
