Police warn against use of tinted glasses in Borno

The Borno state Police command has issued a warning against the unauthorized use of tinted glasses, cover plate numbers, spy plate numbers, and blaring of sirens within Maiduguri metropolis.
PPRO, ASP Sani Kamilu Shatambaya, made available to journalists in Maiduguri Tuesday said the violators are warned to desist from such as the command would not fold its arm and allow few unpatriotic individuals flagrantly violate the law and derail the existing peace by such acts.
Kanempress gathered that the Commissioner of Police has instructed various department heads, Area commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and tactical commanders to be more vigilant in their areas of responsibilities.
Additionally, they are directed to cooperate with other security agencies to share information and intelligence for a coordinated effort in enforcing the ban and addressing potential threats.
