Prominent Emir advice Ecowas to use diplomacic means on Niger republic

The Emir of Bichi, Dr. Nasiru Ado Bayero, advised the Nigerian government – which leads the Ecowas group – to follow diplomatic methods to resolve the conflict between the group and the military that lost power in the Republic of Niger.
While speaking at the Zikir meeting for the year of praying for the country, the Emir of Bichi said that the use of military force will further destabilize the situation in Niger, which will affect some neighboring areas of Nigeria.
“Therefore, the way of peace and tranquility is the only way to end this power crisis in Niger”, said the king.
The king also attracted the attention of the country’s authorities on the economic crisis.
He added that “Food has risen, the matter of transportation is trying to be difficult for the people, not to mention the hospital and the family, and the matter of children’s education”.
The Emir also called on the three levels of government to help support the people, so that they can live easily.
