Railway Corporation warns Nigerians against fake ticketing website

Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC has warned its citizens that it has not introduced e-ticketing on the Lagos-Ibadan Train Service.
The Nigerian Railway Corporation also warned intending passengers not to fall prey to fraudsters.
The spokesperson of NRC, Mr. Mahmoud Yakubu, said NRC is yet to commence selling Lagos to Ibadan train tickets online, adding that a fraudulent website had been allegedly developed by cyber criminals, to fraudulently deceive intending travellers
The Railway Corporation advised intending rail travellers from Lagos to Ibadan to be wary of the fraudulent cyberspace criminals, as the corporation is working hard to introduce secured online ticketing on the Lagos, Ibadan, Warri to Itakpe train services very soon.
