Sudan: Medics hit in convoy attack

One of the nternational aid groups, Medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Sudan, says it has been beaten and whipped by armed men who attacked its convoy in the capital.

Medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières warned that its treatment to people might have to stop because of insecurity with several incidents involving its staff.

This attack on its staff happened while the medical team was taking supplies to the Turkish Hospital in the south of Khartoum and with one vehicle stolen.

Medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières had given treatment to over 1,600 patients in hospitals since the conflict began.
