Tinubu Decorates New Service Chiefs

On Monday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu conducted a ceremony to decorate the new service chiefs with their respective ranks.
The newly appointed chiefs include Christopher Musa as the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Taoreed Lagbaja as the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Emmanuel Ogalla as the Chief of Naval Staff, and Hassan Abubakar as the Chief of Air Staff.
It could be recalled that the appointments came after the retirement of the previous service chiefs who served under former President Muhammadu Buhari.
While the Senate confirmed their appointments on July 13 during a closed session that lasted over an hour, and on July 19, the House of Representatives also confirmed their positions during a plenary session.
