United Nation says thousands of Sudanese children are not in school

Over 40,000 Sudanese children are not in school.
This is according to the UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs (Ocha).
The UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs said these 40,000 children escaped fighting in Sudan to South Sudan since April.
“The situation is dire, and the youngest victims, the children, bear the brunt,” the UN said.
The UN Office said over 183,000 people had crossed the border since the conflict.
It said the figures would soar as the war continued and efforts to broker a ceasefire.
Some children in Unity State, on the border with Sudan, had injuries gave information being harassed by armed groups.
