The Yobe 2,670 Graduates recently recruited into the civil service by His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, have started collecting their appointment letters.

One of the beneficiaries Abdullah Umar from Gulani local government, thanked the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni for the recruitment, saying that it will reduce youth unemployment and contribute to service delivery in the state.

He explained that the new recruits have shown the desire and zeal to join the pool of productive and efficient civil service to contribute their quota to the growth and development of Yobe.

Recall, Governor Mai Mala Buni approved for employment of 2,670 graduates which include 890 University Degree Graduates, 890 Higher National Diploma and National Diploma Holders, and
890 National Certificate of Education Graduates in the state.

Governor Buni said the employment would provide graduates with job opportunities, and to fill existing gaps required for efficient service delivery in the state.

He said the beneficiaries were drawn from the 178 political wards in the 17 local government areas of the state.

The governor charged the beneficiaries to justify their appointment with high sense of commitment and dedication to duty to enhance service delivery.

“Government has provided all parts of the state with equal opportunities and sense of belonging and orwernership of governance.

“We are all stakeholders that have contributions to make to the development of our dear state”.

Governor Buni assured that his administration would continue to provide various opportunities to fast-track the growth and development of Yobe.
