Yobe Initiates Second Phase of Food Distribution in Zone B as Part of Palliative Efforts

In the ongoing effort to provide support to the less privileged in Yobe State, the Deputy Governor, Hon. Idi Barde Gubana, who serves as the Deputy Chairman of the palliative committee, has initiated the second phase of food distribution in Zone B, specifically in Damagum of Fune Local Government Area.
During the distribution, the Deputy Governor highlighted that the focus is on vulnerable persons, including those with disabilities, households led by women, the elderly, and students.
The distribution process involves local sub-committees with representatives from various sectors, aiming to ensure fairness and timeliness.
The Deputy Governor encouraged the public to cooperate with these committees, emphasizing the importance of prayers for peace, successful harvests, and prosperity.
On his part, the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Mohammad Goje, assured that the distribution would reach the truly needy, with over 14,500 communities expected to benefit across the state.
