Angola’s capital, Luanda, is set to host the 17th U.S.-Africa Business Summit from June 22 to June 25, 2025, bringing together over 1,500 delegates, including African leaders, U.S. government officials, and executives from both U.S. and African companies.
This summit aims to strengthen trade, investment, and business relations between the U.S. and Africa. It will serve as a key platform for discussions on expanding U.S.-Africa business collaborations across various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, agriculture, technology, manufacturing, and health.
The event holds special significance as Angola celebrates the 50th anniversary of its independence and assumes the Chairmanship of the African Union (AU) in 2025.
Hosting the summit during this momentous year underscores Angola’s commitment to promoting economic ties between Africa and the United States.
The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Angola’s Ambassador to the U.S., Agostinho Van-Dunem, and Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) President Florizelle Liser.
The summit is expected to showcase Angola’s diverse industries and highlight business and investment opportunities across the African continent, reinforcing the nation’s role as a key player in the African economy.
