On behalf of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Arewa Community in Lagos State, the Chairman, Engr. Alhaji Saadu Yusuf Gulma, heartily congratulates His Excellency, Mr. Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and the dynamic Lagos APC Chairman, Honourable Cornelius Ojelabi, on the resounding victory of the APC across all local government councils in the just concluded elections.
This overwhelming victory is not just a political achievement — it is a testament to the strength of our democracy, the unity of our people, and the unshakable trust reposed in the leadership of the APC by all segments of Lagos State, especially the Arewa community.
Chairman Gulma, a bridge-builder and passionate advocate for inter-ethnic unity, extends special appreciation to the first Class Council of Arewa Chiefs Other traditional title holders, APC Board of Trustees, Party stakeholders, supporters and the entire Arewa indigenes in Lagos State for their unwavering loyalty, grassroots mobilization, and deep commitment to the progressive vision of the APC.
“This victory belongs to every market woman in Agege, every youth in Alimosho, every elder in Mushin, and every patriotic Arewa son and daughter who defied the odds to vote for good governance and continuity. We, the Arewa community, have once again shown that we are not just residents, but active contributors and stakeholders in the progress of Lagos State,” said Engr. Saadu.
He emphasized the increasing relevance of the Arewa community in the socio-political and economic fabric of Lagos, stating that the unity, discipline, and political consciousness of the Arewa people played a significant role in securing this landslide victory.
Chairman Gulma also called on all members of the Arewa community to remain steadfast in their support of the Lagos State Government’s developmental agenda, pledging continued cooperation with His Excellency Governor Sanwo-Olu as he builds a greater Lagos for all.
“The road ahead is filled with hope and promise. Let us continue to walk in unity, build bridges across communities, and uphold the values of hard work, peace, and loyalty that define us as Arewa people. Together with the APC-led government in Lagos, we will continue to thrive,” he added.
