Bauchi state government to create a special security force

Bauchi State government has said that it will employ at least 20,000 youths to fight the security problem and ensure peace and stability, under a special security force that will be created in the state.
Kanempress reported that the security force will be like the one created by the southwestern states of the country, which is called Amotekum.
The state governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, announced the decision shortly after he was sworn in for a second term as governor on Monday.
He was sworn in by Judge Rabi Talatu along with his deputy Mohammed Auwal Jatau at that time.
The governor said that the force that will help the security system that already exists in the local governments of the state will consist of 20,000 young people who will be recruited in the first phase.
