Borno Govt announce Flood Relief account, Appeals for Donations

The Borno State Government has announced the creation of a dedicated relief fund to provide urgent assistance to those affected by the recent flooding in Maiduguri and its surrounding areas.
In a statement issued by Abdurrahman Ahmed Bundi, Senior Special Assistant on New Media, the government emphasized its commitment to mobilizing support from citizens, organizations, and international partners to alleviate the suffering of flood victims and aid in their recovery.
The recent floods have caused significant destruction, displacing families and damaging vital infrastructure. In response to this humanitarian crisis, the Borno State Government is calling on all individuals and groups to contribute to the newly established flood relief account.
