Budget 2025:Governor Buni Present N320.8 Billion to Yobe State Assembly

In a significant move towards the development of Yobe State, Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON has presented the 2025 budget, amounting to N320.811 billion, to the State Assembly. This announcement was made in a statement signed by Mamman Mohammed, the Director-General of Press to the Governor.
The budget allocates N176.964 billion, representing 55.1%, to capital expenditure, while N144.036 billion, or 44.9%, is designated for recurrent expenditure. Key sectors such as education, healthcare delivery, road infrastructure, and women and youth empowerment are set to receive priority attention in this budget.
Governor Buni emphasized the importance of these allocations in driving sustainable development and improving the quality of life for the citizens of Yobe State. The focus on education and healthcare aims to build a healthier and more educated populace, while investments in road infrastructure and empowerment programs are expected to stimulate economic growth and create opportunities for the youth and women in the States.
