Electoral Commission publishes candidate for election in Ondo

INEC, has published the final list of candidates for governorship election scheduled for November 16th 2024 in Ondo state, South West Nigeria.
The National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Sam Olumekun says the publication of the final list is in line with the provision of of Electoral Act 2022 .
The list has been published and is available at the INEC office in Akure, on the website and social media platforms.
The breakdown indicates that 17 political parties are fielding candidates for the 16 November 2024 polls.
Political Parties are permitted to start their campaigns in public from Wednesday 19th June 2024 and end at midnight on Thursday 14th November 2024 as specified in the election timetable.
