Gunmen Kill Two, Kidnap Four In Ningi

Gunmen in Ningi local government area of Bauchi state have killed one person and kidnapped three others.
The Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, SP. Ahmed Wakil made this known today, saying that the gunmen attacked the Balma settlement on Saturday and kidnapped three person, leaving behind one dead, among whom were traditional leaders.
The two traditional leaders, according to Wakil, were the ward head in the Bakutumbu community and the village head in the Balma community.
“They shot sporadically and took away the village head, Alhaji Hussaini Saleh, who is 48 years old.
“One Haruna Jibrin was, however, shot in the head by the gunmen.
“When the police received the distress call, a team was drafted to the scene, they rescued the victim and rushed him to General Hospital Ningi where he was receiving treatment until his demise.
” Presently, Ningi Division of the Force have embarked on patrolling the bush, in an effort to rescue the two abducted community leaders alive.”Wakili added
