Kanempress Digital Hub, stands in awe of the grandeur and cultural richness displayed during the recent Eid El Fitr celebrations in Borno State.
At the heart of this spectacle was the Shehu of Borno, His Eminence Alhaji (Dr) Abubakar Umar Garbai El-Kanemi, CFR, whose coordination of a mesmerizing Durbar celebration in Maiduguri captivated many from all walks of life.
Draped in resplendent traditional attire, the Durbar event was a feast for the senses, with dignitaries such as the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima and Borno State Governor, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum joining the festivities.
Against the backdrop of Maiduguri’s bustling streets, the Durbar served as a positive reminder of Borno’s rich cultural heritage and resilient spirit, despite the challenges it has faced 10 years or there about.
Meanwhile, in Bama local government area, the Shehu of Bama, Alhaji (Dr) Umar Ibn Kyari El-Kanemi, added his own flair to the celebrations with a breathtaking Horse racing (Garlaf) and Cultural Display.

This vibrant showcase of tradition drew a diverse array of guests, from esteemed king makers, traditional tittle holders to local business leaders, each contributing to the celebration of cultural splendor that defines Borno.
As Kanempress Digital Hub reflects on these extraordinary events, it reaffirms its commitment to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Borno.

The event drew esteemed dignitaries from traditional tittle holders, government functionaries, and the local business community, both within and outside, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
