National Defence College Honors Gov Zulum with an award of Excellence

The National Defence College (NDC) Governing Board bestowed the prestigious Recognition of Excellence and Service to the Nation Award upon His Excellency, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, the Executive Governor of Borno State.

The award ceremony took place during the NDC Course 32 Dinner/Awards Night at the National Defence College on Herbert Macauley Road.

Governor Zulum’s outstanding contributions to knowledge transfer, unwavering commitment in the fight against insurgency, and dedicated efforts toward nation-building in Nigeria were acknowledged by the NDC.

Dignitaries, including the President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, CON, attended the event, where the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar, represented Governor Zulum and accepted the award on his behalf.
