Nigerian Police Force to re- strategise ahead of gubernatorial election in Ondo State

The Nigerian Police Force has emphasised the need to re- strategies ahead of the upcoming gubernatorial election scheduled for November 16th 2024 in Ondo State, South western Nigeria.
The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun laid the emphasis while in a strategic meeting with Assistant Inspector General of Police and Commissioners of Police from all formations, zonal and state commands at the Good luck Ebele International Peace Keeping Centre, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
IGP Egbetokun revealed that the Nigeria Police Force is fully committed to impartiality, professionalism, and the highest standards of conduct to safeguard democracy in Nigeria.
The Police Chief at the meeting, highlighted several significant achievements of the Police Force in recent months, including successful operations against organized crime, improved response times to emergencies, and increased community engagement initiatives.
