Nigerian President, Speaker, Ruling party chairman, Governors, Mamman Daura, others attend Barau’s children’s wedding

Kanempress reports that Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajuddeen Abbas, and several prominent figures, including governors, senators, and business tycoons, have attended the wedding fatiha of the children of Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, in Abuja on Friday.
The wedding ceremony, conducted by chief Iman of the National mosque, Professor Ibrahim Maqari celebrated the union of Senator Barau’s son, Jibrin Barau Jibrin (Abba), with Maryam Nasir Ado Bayero, daughter of the Emir of Bichi, and his daughter Aisha Barau Jibrin with Engineer Abubakar, son of Dr. Abdulmunaf Yunusa Sarina, President of Azman Group of Companies.
President Tinubu acted as Wakil and Waliy for the couple through the Speaker of the House of Representatives, while Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje served as Waliy for Maryam Bayero.
Former Nasarawa State Governor, Senator Tanko Almakura, represented the groom’s family as Wakil of Abubakar.
Kanempress observed that the wedding ceremony attracted top politicians from various political parties in Nigeria, including senators, governors, ministers, traditional and religious leaders, as well as key business figures.
Governors in attendance included the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq; Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah; Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, among others.
Many lawmakers, including; former President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, Ali Ndume, Sani Musa, Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, Aminu Iya Abbas, Buhari Abdulfatai, Mohammed Tahir Monguno, Ikira Aliyu Bilbis, Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, Salihu Mustapha, Shehu Buba, Abdul Ningi, Abdullahi Yahaya, Ahmed Lawan, Sahabi Ya’u, Kamorudeen Adekunle Adedibu, Danjuma Goje, Lawal Usman, Kawu Sumaila, attended the wedding.
Also in attendance are Presidential aides, including Secretary Government of the Federation(SGF), Senator George Akume, the Chief of Staff, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, Special Assistant to the President (Political Affairs), Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Assistant to the President (Print), Abdulaziz Abdulaziz.
