To the oil sector, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has unveiled the Production Monitoring Command Centre.
This is a groundbreaking initiative, aimed at enhancing efficiency and boosting hydrocarbon production across its operations.
The initiative, driven by the Upstream Investment Management Services builds on the success of the Command and Control Centre to enhance monitoring, operational efficiency and production.
The Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Corporation, Mr Olufemi Soneye said the monitoring center aligned with the Nigerian government’s policy to increase efficiency and boost production,
The Production Monitoring Command Centre serves as a unified platform for monitoring hydrocarbon molecules from production to export terminals, covering Joint Ventures and Production Sharing Contracts.
Mr Soneye stressed the Monitoring Command Center’s role in minimising downtime and optimising maintenance directly contributing to increased production and revenue.
