BREAKING: Tinubu Holds Meeting with Former APC National Chairman, Secretary

Tuesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu had a meeting with Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Senator Iyiola Omisore, who recently stepped down from their roles as the National Chairman and Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) respectively.

The duo resigned just ahead of the scheduled National Caucus and National Executive Council (NEC) meetings on July 18 and 19.

Although the specific reason for the meeting has not been officially disclosed, it is widely believed that it was convened to address issues related to the party’s leadership.

When rumours initially surfaced about the resignation of Senator Adamu and Senator Omisore, the former national chairman, Adamu, refrained from commenting until President Tinubu returned to the country from his trip to Nairobi, Kenya.

Further details regarding the outcome and implications of the meeting have not been released yet.
