Gov. Buni Approves N513 Million For LGAs’ Work Plan Projects

His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN (Chiroman Gujba) has approved the release of the sum of N513,768,061.56 for the execution of various developmental projects across the 17 local government areas of the state.
The Permanent Secretary Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alh. Ali Mustapha said, the
approval was sequel to the completion of the work of the committee on Local Government budget discussion for the year 2023 which scrutinized and prioritized various developmental projects that have direct impact on the lives of people at the grassroots.
Gov. Buni’s approval is part of ongoing efforts to improve living conditions for people in rural areas, the governor is committed to ensuring that basic social services, including potable water supply, functional primary school infrastructure, primary health care and sanitation, etc. are made more readily available and accessible to people at the grassroots.
The approval brings the total to billions of naira since the Buni administration came into office. The local government councils continue to undertake special projects that have direct bearings on the lives of the people at the grassroots.
