Governor’s Aide Suspends for Bringing Snake to Govt House

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has suspended Kabir Sani-Giant, the Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, following an incident where he brought a snake to the Government House on February 8, 2025.
The incident caused widespread fear among dignitaries, statesmen, and officials present at the time.
Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, the APC state secretary, made the announcement of the suspension in a statement issued on Sunday.
He described the action as both offensive and embarrassing, noting that it could tarnish the image of the party and bring it into disrepute.
The statement added that the suspension would remain in effect while further investigations are carried out. Sani-Giant’s actions were said to have violated the APC’s constitution, with the possibility of expulsion if such behavior is repeated.
The party stressed the importance of upholding ethical conduct by public officials to prevent actions that could discredit the party.
