Nigeria Appoints Substantive Accountant-General

Nigerian Government has approved the appointment of Mrs. Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein, as its new Accountant General of the Federation.
President Muhammadu Buhari made the approval following the successful conduct of a selection process to fill the existing vacancy.
In a Statement from the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan, the appointment takes effect from 18th of May, 2023.
The new appointee is to resume immediately.
