RRR Commissioner’s Death Under Police Scrutiny-Isa Gusau

The death of Engr Ibrahim Idriss Garba, the commissioner for Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (RRR) in Borno State, is being investigated by the state police command, according to Malam Isa Gusau, the media aide of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.

Malam Gusau said that the commissioner of police visited the residence where Engr Ibrahim passed away in Maiduguri on Saturday.

Governor Zulum was deeply saddened and shocked by the news of the commissioner’s demise. He expressed his condolences to the bereaved family, friends, colleagues, and members of the state executive council.

Engr Ibrahim served as the Governor’s Special Adviser on Special Projects before he was promoted and sworn in as the commissioner of RRR, at the beginning of Zulum’s second term in office.

“May Allah have mercy on the commissioner and grant him Aljanna.”
