JUST IN: Tinubu Holds Discussions with Wike, El-Rufai at Aso Rock Villa

President Bola Tinubu is in talks with former Governors Nyesom Wike (Rivers) and Mallam Nasir el-Rufai (Kaduna) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The former Governors are President Tinubu’s nominees for ministerial positions and have already undergone Senate screening.

While Wike successfully passed the Senate screening process, el-Rufai’s nomination is still awaiting approval.

Sources within the Presidential Villa suggest that efforts are underway to ensure the Senate’s confirmation of Mallam el-Rufai.
